Customer Service Via Transparency
Posted on: Thursday, 02.04.2010

A while back I wrote an article about how 37 Signals provides a status page for the updates that are being made to their applications. I feel this provides a great service to customers as they feel that information on updatese to the tools used everyday are easily accessible.
Today another great example of this has been made by Cultured Code, the creators most famous for their Mac app… Things.

Their page shows off which features are in the works and where in the release schedule they currently reside. I can only imagine that having this page really removes those “When is feature X coming” questions from being asked via email/forums. How much time of the day can answering these types of questions take up? A lot! Sure maybe you batch them up and do them once a week, but still… this is time taken from your productivity.
So now you have less customer questions to answer and at the same time empowered the user. They can now get the information they want… when they want it. How awesome is that for customer service. That’s really what every customer wants anyway.

Visit Us On Facebook
Posted on: Saturday, 01.23.2010

We just opened the reactionCONTROL Facebook Fan Page and welcome our clients, partners, supporters and anyone else to come by for a visit. We’ll be adding features and info through Facebook’s great networking features. Our Tumblr feed will also repost there so no one misses any of our news along the way.
While we’re on a social networking ramble, we might as well also mention our Twitter. By being available on all these platforms, no matter which one you like to use (or if you use all of them like we do) you can always stay informed of the latest happenings.
Speaking of latest happenings … check out our projects page to see some of the things that have been keeping the crew busy.

Change is Good
Posted on: Saturday, 01.16.2010

As of right now you may have noticed some very minor differences in our website. Honestly, that should be all you notice if we’ve done our job correctly! Even though we’ve completely rewritten the backend we expect very little difference to you as the end user.
Our site should be much more responsive for you and more useful/informative for us. These changes lay the groundwork for us to provide better services to you and become more responsive to your questions/comments.
